1. Where our lead data comes from

The homeowner and property information JustBrokeGround sells to its customers is built entirely from public government records, such as county property appraiser records, building permit filings, and other publicly available government data sources. We do not buy this information from the homeowners themselves, and homeowners do not sign up for or opt into being included; the underlying records are public because a government office made them public.

We organize, grade, and deliver this public information to our customers (interior designers, home watch firms, outdoor living companies, and similar trades) under the terms of our Seat License Agreement. See Section 6 of that agreement for our data accuracy disclaimer: the underlying records can be incomplete, delayed, or contain errors from the original government source.

2. What we collect from site visitors

Separately from the public lead records described above, we collect a small amount of information from people who visit this website or one of our pitch, landing, or dashboard pages:

Pages you visit and how you use them. Which pages you view, how far you scroll, and which buttons or links you click. This is standard site analytics, tied to a page token rather than to your name.
Information you submit through a form. If you fill out a "check your county" form, a contact form, or a reservation checkout, we collect what you type: your name, firm name, email, phone, and county or trade of interest.
Basic technical information. IP address, browser type, and approximate location (city and region, derived from network information), which helps us understand where interest is coming from and secure the site against abuse.

We do not collect this information from anyone who has not visited our site or interacted with one of our pages, and we do not combine it with the public homeowner records described in Section 1 in a way that identifies you personally as a homeowner.

3. How we use information

4. Sharing, and no sale of visitor data

We do not sell information about site visitors. The information we collect from people who visit this site, fill out a form, or use our checkout (Section 2) is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

We do share information with a small number of service providers who help us run the site and the business, such as our payment processor (Stripe), our hosting and infrastructure provider (Cloudflare), and our email delivery provider. These providers process information on our behalf and under their own privacy and security obligations; they do not get to use it for their own purposes.

This section covers visitor data. It does not change the separate business of licensing graded homeowner lead data (built from public records, as described in Section 1) to paying customers under a Seat License Agreement.

5. Opt-out and deletion

If you are a homeowner and you want to be removed from our lead feeds, or if you are a site visitor and want us to delete information we collected from you, contact us and we will honor the request:

hello@mail.justbrokeground.com

Include enough information for us to find your record (for example, your name and property address, or the email you used on a form). We will confirm your request and remove or suppress the matching record from future feeds and communications within a reasonable time.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of any information transmitted to us.

7. Children

This site and our services are directed at businesses and business owners, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Email and CAN-SPAM

Marketing emails we send include a working unsubscribe link or instructions, honored promptly, and honest subject lines and sender information. Our postal address for CAN-SPAM and related purposes is:

JustBrokeGround
St. Augustine, FL

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
